Not some much into the whole book thing, but can give a bit of advice which might help.........

Socialization, socialization, socialization!

With humans, huskies, other canines and more!

I'm fortunate to have a position that my husky can come to work with me at least one day a week. And she's done so since she first received all her shots and was able to be out. It provides her the opportunity to meet people of all ages. Has been one of the best things I've done for her. Another thing I do with her is to take her to the local nursing home. It has done wonders as she's learned to meet the elderly and learn to behave appropriately. She's also been to the local daycare (with Santa Claus) to visit with small children.

The more you get them out into the world, the more at ease they are in any given situation.
