Leyka&Diva
i have a medium one but i prefer using my mikki undercoat rake xx
PnkFlyd204
I don't remember what size mine is (is that bad?). Viggo hates it though. I still use it on him, but he is very vocal about how much he dislikes it. Tika is the same way. Ugh.
Povodny
We have something that's black an red. Cost about £15 and does work really well. Although I prefer a comb if it's coming out in clumps

Mollys_mum
is a furminator not good? It's a bit, erm, savage! I have a medium one and use it for a sibe and a Mally. You really have to be gentle with it though or it'll scratch your dog's skin.

Hyshqa
I have the large furminator and it's fantastic Got it for £6 + £2.50 delivery from here: http://www.hollywoodshop.co.uk/furminator-c-32.html?osCsid=4456539c366a585beccc6d7b79bee883
shadow01
I have the medium. What I found is the thicker the coat the harder to use without so much pull. But it works brilliantly.
basketcase687
im going to order a furminator and was wondering wich was the best one to get? large or medium? We have 2 large furminators for our 4.They work really well ,we use them almost daily, especially for removing the undercoat when shedding heavily.None of our dogs mind them and we have never had any problems with them hurting their skin etc.Couldn't be without them! ICE & SHADOW
Ice loves its Shadow is good for a few passes then he has had enough. As long as you don't apply extra pressure, then it works great. You run into pulling hair, irritating skin etc... when you apply the pressure. Got mine (large) for $25.00 on Amazon/

Hyshqa
I'd go with plain old short haired one unless you're using it on a wooly husky

Emma
We have a large furminator and it does work well. Yes it will cut guard hairs and is quite menacing looking but it does the job. We haven't tried the mikki rake, so can't make a comparison but will have to look out for one on eBay, it sounds quite good. May work better on bear as her fur is sooooo much thicker and coarser than ice's.
