Liz Jones
Such a tragic accident that resulted in the death of an infant... glad the dog was not blamed and put to sleep before the case could be looked into
Stranger
This is what should happen. The dog goes into a rescue where its to live the rest of its life.

mydiamond
what does "living in sanctuary" means? Like, behind the bars forever?
Arooroomom
I agree with Olivia. What the heck sort of sanctuary?
Removed #2
There are sanctuaries for unadoptable pets...those with diseases, chronic illnesses, bad situations, aggression, etc., that are not bad enough to be euthenized. They live as a pack with others, and are taken care of the rest of their lives. Sounds and looks like this one would have been fine to be adopted, and since it said there were four dogs in the home, the husky had an untreated broken leg, it was no doubt in pain of it's own, and one of the other dogs was a pit bull. They don't mention what happened to the others.
Duremite
I feel bad that they won't adopt him out but certainly extremely happy that the poor Husky was spared.
