Hello all, sorry if i threaded this in the wrong section, new to all this you see!.. i get my boy Storm soon & as we all know its always best to be well prepared, my girlfriend has a 2 year old huskamute (husky x malamute) & i was just wondering is there any certain way i need to introduce my pup to her boy, would just be worried about levels of rough play. I'm sure i sound like I'm worrying far too much, but i just want them to get on as the best of friends ideally as they'll be seeing a lot of each other. Thanks for any help. :D

hi ...is your girlfriends dog ..usually friendly with other dogs/puppies ...if so ther is no reason for there to be a problem ...i would suggest they meet on neautral ground ...som times they can be territorial ...you usually find mals and huskies are good with puppies ....good luck ...

ahhh thank you for that advice! yeah he is very good with other dogs & very laid back, and never shows any signs of being particularity dominant, all in all a very good & well behaved dog. So neutral ground would be best? we were thinking of bringing my girlfriends dog over to my house, he's been here before a lot, would that be a bad idea?

meet up in ur back garden or front garden or even a neighbours front garden just so its kind of neutral ground but not too far from ur house as ur pup wont have had its shots

yeah that's what we were thinking about; the fact storm wont of had his shots, think we'll do it in the back garden, as it will be familiar for both of them! Thanks for all the help!
