Val (Zebedee)
What is it with washing machines? Why do they break down at the worst time? I swear electronic things know when it's the most inconvenient time
Sarah
did you try hitting it? lol
Mollys Dad
If hitting it doesn't work, you need a bigger hammer. Or threaten it with something it really won't like - a handful of gravel maybe? Can't do that much harm if it is knackered already. *NOTE* I am NOT a washing machine engineer!

Val (Zebedee)
It threw a wobbly taking in water, then showed it's anger flashing all sorts of lights at me & FINALLY piddled on the floor in a last show of defiance!! Still, got an extra day off work to wait for the repair man!!
Tan J P
Washing Machines.....bain of my life we were told its only the belt......erm no it cost a new washer now the tumble is coming out in sympathy and squeaking more than a trapped mouse:eek: i swear its going to blow up and that gets me onto kettles.......cant count how many i've had! time to shut the 'cafe' i think
Emma
Probably irrelevant if you're getting a repair man round but have you checked the filter and inlet hose for any blockages? Used to have a washer/dryer that went into meltdown if there was a button or sock inside the filter. It had lots of problems and I learnt the hard way that washer/dryers are nothing but trouble! Lol. sharloid
Luckily I've never had a washing machine break. Though I did flood the kitchen a little when something got caught in the door so it didn't shut properly. Oops!
