Maliwoowoos Posted May 11, 2012 Report Share Posted May 11, 2012 Hi everybody, Hope you all dont mind but we are not an Husky owner but we do have 2 Malamutes, our girls are sisters but are as different as chalk and cheese. They are now 17 weeks old and full of fun and mischief. We were walking the girls in town when a nice guy came up to us and gave us a business card with this address on it and told us we were welcome to join this site. I hope I am not speaking out of turn here, but I would not have taken on a Mally had it not been for some members on this forum - simply because I had never heard of them before. Franklin Phil - just short of huge is right. They wil be around 25 inches at the shoulder, chunkier than the husky. They are very powerful dogs when full grown hence we are trying to train them not to jump up at folks - ok right now but when they weigh in at 80lbs a piece it will be a different story lol. Mollys Mum - we hope you enjoy your mally as we are enjoying ours, it's nice to know one got re-homed. There are so many for sale when they get fully grown and folks realise how big they get.
