When we first got her 6 weeks ago she had just a little spot of green on the top of her one eye. now that eye is mostly green with a little blue on the bottom (pretty much opposite from when we got her. as the weeks passed it slowly moved in radius (for example how a clock hand moves by the hour) not by changing all at once. she is 13 weeks old now. Ive read husky eye colors pretty much are permanent by 8 weeks. although cannot find anything about partieye in puppies. wondering if it will full be green or remain parti eye. from the looks of it it may go fully green. Just enjoy her growth you'll soon witness a beautiful transformation and no, even if a pup has reached 8 weeks old their eye colors can not be deemed "permanent" yet. They will keep changing, but usually stops when they reach full body size which is around 6 months old. But their coat/marking will never stop changing! By the looks of it, Luka's will stay like that, at least in our experience. When Czar Demon was that age, they never changed and stayed that way. This is a very interesting subject as parti-eyed Husky's are not as common as bi-eyed or same eyed Husky's-its an interesting anomaly which occurs and when you have a Husky with two, thats even more rare, now we're talking about a green/blue parti-eyed Husky-thats amazing! Xena "Warrior Princess" Posted May 21, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 21, 2012 yes it is weird, her eyes are seem to be changing clockwise from blue to green, i do not care if she turns bi eyed or stays partieye. just want to know the outcome already lol. anyways tomorrow i will try to get a picture in the sunlight to show the colors. artificial lighting isnt showing it too well. looking more closely at it, it seems a combination halfway between amber and green (used to look more green few weeks ago) with light brown at the outer most ring of the eye. so it might end up turning amber. czar and brooke's eyes are really cool looking, brooke's has identical to xena's is luka's eyes both parti eye with the outer ring amber and inner ring blue?? those look like the craziest eyes (in a good way) ive seen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Brooke's eyes are gorgeous and Luka's are considered parti-eye, its a very unique parti-eye going on in both Luka's eyes! Your girl sounds like she's going to be parti-by this age, if thats how she looks, thats how it'll be-a parti-eye. sutsibe Posted May 21, 2012 Report Share Posted May 21, 2012 All puppies' eyes' have a bluish cast when they first open, and the blue takes a while to go away... It makes brown eyes look almost a muddy navy color, blue very intense, and amber a greenish color. I would guess that the greenish color will turn amber, eventually, in your pup's eyes - regardless, I'm sure they are and will be gorgeous! Xena "Warrior Princess" Posted May 21, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 21, 2012 (edited) wow .. is isys a sherpard/husky ?!? yes so seems will remain parti eye.. looking at her old pictures, the blue was more dark and the green was very washed out, so it look as if she had only little green in her eye, after a few weeks the blue started to lighten and the green got darker/turned more towards amber, looked as if the green was taking over the eye. least i learned a lot from this thread.. thanks again i happened to get a picture of her tonight (colors are really off but at least the pattern is shown) At 8 weeks At 13 weeks Edited May 21, 2012 by Xena "Warrior Princess" Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As the weeks passed his eye kept changing in colour. Right now his eye is either an amber or a light brown or in some lights can look like a funny shade of green (depending on his mood) with a splash of blue through it.
