Katy's picnic in the park was to raise funds for the charity and to raise the profile of cancer research into brain tumours just being a very small part of cancer research. Paula's mum explained that this would have been Katy's 11th birthday and that by having this party with all of her favourite things helps the family to cope on a very difficult day. Paula explained that the husky was one of Katy's favourite dogs and she had loads of pics and toys, so us being there was very much a big part of the day We had a small fun dog show, with a late entry from me number 13 Lucky.. it could enter both the female and dog shows as it had no gender the kids loved Lucky and so did Kaviq ... (check out the vid) The area set aside for us to shade the dogs drew quite a few people all asking about the dogs. I had lots of lovely comments from the public about how well behaved the dogs where and that everyone was so welcoming and all had a great sense of humour which added to the day... Once again thank you to HO for offering your support in this event and supporting us on the day...
