Michelle Melsom
Prepare yourselves for awesome we went through the rocky mountains which is amazing as you will see. ^ Crazy mountain goat ^ I think that's a caribou or elk...It was pretty far away ^pretty nice detail ^We stayed at Kandi's and Marius, Melinko and Bellatrix got to play together ^at Thunder Lake ^ Marius playing at Thunder Lake ^Marius checking out the gator chew thing I won him at this dog fair. Apparently I was the only person who scored that high on the breed guessing game ^Marius meeting Monkey ^ My handsome pup Jasper National Park : ^So many mountain goats! ^Lookit the lil babies ^ And this says it all In BC on our way back : ^ Marius with Mt. Robson as his backdrop ^ The cabin we stayed at in the Rockies ^The view we had from the cabin. This was taken from out on the patio I could see it out the bedroom windows, the tv room too ^ This is what Marius did on the patio for most of the stay ^ Marius approved scenery ^ I think he likes the dandelions? ^ He decided to jump on this mossy rock and it was super squishy so he just went into super play mode and went crazy on it haha ^ Lots of White water rafting signs around here too THAT would be fun ^The rocks looked fake from the way the falls/rapids shaped them ^ Marius checking it out. He REALLY enjoyed the mist that was coming off the water I also saw a couple of bears going there are back but didn't get my camera out quick enough to take pics of them. I also saw a fox and some deer And ofc Cattle when I was in Alberta haha. I dont know how to remove these attached images below they were from when my computer was messing up before :/ Edited June 23, 2012 by Michelle Melsom Added more pictures

Removed #5
You've hit on one of the places where I have to say that Canadian country if more beautiful that the US end of the chain. I took the trans Can one time, saw the Rockies peeping up across the plains and then lost them in the dark. Pulled into the Rockies <somewhere> and parked for the night in a truck pull off - woke up the next morning with these huge towering masses of rock all around me, COLD!!!!! Thanks for the memories and the pictures of one dog having a blast!!!!

LittleBean
Welcome to my home! I live in Edmonton, Alberta. Hope you all enjoyed your trip! Looks like your huskies had fun!
Michelle Melsom
I did enjoy my trip, I wish I had more pictures of Edmonton but it was so flat but when I complained I was told Saskatchewan is the REAL flat province. There were all these pretty yellow flowers everywhere in Edmonton. Stayed in Calgary for like 3 days, Edmonton 1, Barrhead 3 and then headed back to BC and stayed in that cabin in BC. We live in a beautiful country that's for sure
LittleBean
Awww too bad I didn't see this sooner We could have set play dates! (Can't help but to notice your status...I'm also addicted to d3 *-* )
Michelle Melsom
A play date would have been great >.<. Glad to be home now cuz of D3 ofc but also because I missed being surrounded by mountains...they are like my comfy blanket it was odd not being surrounded by them when I was in Alberta. But my OH's mom who lives in Barrhead says she feels suffocated by the mountains in BC haha. Anyways I wont get to play much D3. Midsummer festival is going on in WoW gotta get my achievements -flex-

We live in a beautiful country that's for sure Oh yes, some areas of Saskatchewan are truly as flat as they say. I wish I had a photo uploaded of the view from my office - you can see the entire city, and the canola fields that surround it, all the way to the horizon. There's nary a hill to be found! This photo is from just east of the city, you actually start to get some mild rolls to the fields that way! ...You can still watch the dog run away though. If you go way to the south and the west, you get into "hill" country - still nothing like the foothills where Calgary is; that's where I grew up. It took a long time to get used to it - with no mountains looming on the horizon barely a half hour away it was nearly an agoraphobic feeling!
