Husky Sevillana
Hi! My little Sibe has two problems with coat: colour and length... she was found tied in a clearing with a collar like this: She had a short-hair ring around the neck when is her hair going to grow? in the next moulting? Sometimes it's over 40-50 degrees Celsius where we live so... she also had many yellowish zones (hock joint, upper thigh, tall or even face pattern)... are these produced by the heat? I want to repair her coat as soon as possible, anybody could give me tips? I'm already being advised by a beauty-contests husky owner... I've bought a nutritive shampoo for white coat (also gives intensity to other colours) and nutritive bio-protein mask with UV protector. Will these items be enough to recuperate her beautiful coat? Thanks so much beforehand!
HuskyMom09
Healthy coat starts from within...good quality diet is key. A lot of the damaged hair will have to wait until she sheds it out and grows new. This could take 6 months to a year to complete. Quality shampoos are wonderful, conditioners will be beneficial, the yellowing may come out with a premium whitening shampoo I prefer Alpha White by Groomer's Edge but if its really bad Ivory bar or Dawn dish soap will do the trick. Rosemary
You could also try adding omega 3 oil to her diet. I give my two 5ml everyday with their raw diet and their coats are beautiful.

Husky Sevillana
Thanks you very much for the info!!! and also Huskymom for the tips I'll wait for the next shedding because it's a huge cut ring I'm feeding her with Taste of the Wild which contains a good amount of Omega 3! I feel relieved now I've heard your experiences. I like the yellow/brown colour too hahaha she looks like a little wolf ^^
