Mazz Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 We had a few days that were not too hot. Even got some rain after about 4 weeks. But now it's getting real hot and muggy again. Zoya and Eisa do not enjoy the heat and stay inside in the AC. And like last year, our back yard is swarming with Killer Hornets. They are about 2 inches long and in flight all day long. sutsibe Posted July 15, 2012 Report Share Posted July 15, 2012 Dave, I'm currently working at Blain's Farm & Fleet, and a customer came in the other day looking for something to get rid of the type of hornet/wasp that lives underground. She said she'd read on the 'net that pouring ammonia down the hole will kill them - I think I'd put on heavy clothing and head/face covering before I tried it, but it might be worth a try, and relatively cheap!
