Hey guys, my husky puppy is almost 3 months old, and when I brought her home I attached a bell charm to her collar so I can easily find her. I've been told the bell charm will interfere with the puppy's hearing and that I should never put it on. Is this true?

It's going to interfere in the sense that the dog will have a noisy, annoying distraction attached to them close to their ears 24/7 but it won't damage her hearing or anything. Personally I'd say take it off, it's not too difficult to just take a look around for the pup (or at 3 months, not let her out of sight in the first place ;) ) and I know how frustrated I'd be if I had an irritating noise I couldn't escape from!

I just put a small id tag on Zoya's collar (it is for medical purposes) and I find that I can hear that jingling just a bit. The tag is on a small ring, which is attached to the ring on her collar. For us...hearing the tag is usually good. It is when she is quiet that I know I need to check on her. lol

The old baby gates I had in my attic are also coming in very handy!
