USArmyWifey
Leaving money laying on the bedside table with a puppy about: $40. Having to drive all the way to the store to withdraw more money: $5 Getting to say i told you so to the hubby after joking about this happening 5 mins before it did: Priceless. I have to say i was mad at the time, but i cant stay mad at my girls for long!
Removed #1
You SHOULD be able to take it to any bank, explain what happened and replace it. If you have more than 51% of the bill that is. Good Luck
Osinn11
as long as you have the pieces and 3 of the 4 corners the bank should still take it.....sad I know this!

USArmyWifey
We were told they would only replace it if the serial numbers were still in one piece, sadly only one is. I think ill keep the other one as a reminder that puppys need 100% of my attention and not just 99% lol!

Removed #1
http://moneyfactory.gov/uscurrency/damagedcurrency.html That's really strange. Ultimately if you'd like your money back you can get it. Your bank should be willing to take it, and if they're being jerkoffs about it, eh file a claim, and make sure that you inform the money printers types that your bank doesn't know the actual policy, and suggest that they recieve special training or a reminder bit of info.
