Sarah
Husband is going away tomorrow morning until Monday night :yahoo:on a stag weekend so i'm left all on my little own I've got a huge list of things i need to do in the house though Paint all fencing in back garden paint shed mow lawns front and back weed front garden scrub down patio paint windowsills outside and step fix stepdaughters broken wardrobe (only been asking him to do it for 7 weeks!) I've no car as he's driving down south in it so i'm housebound - how much do you think i can get done?

Rosemary
You are crazy Sarah, that is a long list - I would hire a handyman to do the jobs that need doing, you can sit in the garden with the huskies and read a book - depending on the handyman, you can pretend to read while you watch the progress
Povodny
You can strike the fence the shed the mowing the patio and the window sills as its forecast heavy showers although you can stand in the rain an scrub the patio so on second thought, you can expect to get the patio and the wardrobe done
Andy
Down to B&Q two pairs of cheap overralls. Install kids into overalls. Tell them they can "write" anything they like on the fence and shed in the fence paint / creosote stuff. Swearing included (a strictly one time offer) However they have to cover it up before dad gets back. that'll take care of the fence and shed. Val (Zebedee)
I agree with Andy - utilise what you have around you (2 kids) and get the job done quicker ... must admit, never thought about the fun bit of letting them "write" on the shed & fences first, that'll get their attention!! Unless they 'swear' then get bored & slink off leaving you to cover up their graffiti before the neighbours see it:oops
