BingBlaze n Skyla
Took him out on his own today after 6 weeks ov walking him with the other 2 , n he was brilliant! Walked to heel on just his semi-slip , ignored other dogs barking at him which he normally reacts to , stopped and sat at every curb without any verbal command , I stopped n he stopped n sat , he even got to greet another dog! A little Scottie that he was brilliant with he was wagging his tail n held his head to the side to show he didn't want any confrontation , I can't believe it , I thought after 6 weeks ov letting him walk in front with skyla he wouldn't remember to walk so well but he was brilliant!! I'm so proud ov him n won't have to worry about other dogs so much anymore!! :-D Sent from my ST18i using Forum Runner

Emma
Well done Blaze. Ice is a good boy on his own too, shame he doesn't repeat the good behaviour when out with Bear though. All his good manners fly out the window then and havoc reigns!

I can see why that could be an issue but it's very cute nonetheless! Mine don't seem to have much protective instinct in that way. Barking dogs excite them?! Ice goes mad if Bear gets too far ahead and squeals and bucks, pulling like mad until he's either beside her or in front. He hates losing sight of her and won't even sit down for a rest with us without whining and pining unless Bear is close to hand. Odd because he'll happily go for a walk without her, that's not a problem at all!
Elyse
Good boy, Blaze! Suka ignores other dogs that bark at him - unless he can actually see them. Then dog posturing begins. I watch the other dog, and if I see the other dog is posturing as well, I either turn around or I go down another street.
