Good luck...we have also done quite a few renos in the last 10 years. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Lol yeah me too but we're probably looking at a couple of years before it's all done.

I'm envious I just love Edwardian properties. Where did you get your fencing from? I need to fence in my son's garden once all the trees are down. He's got a third of an acre and none of it's husky proof.

A local fencing company here in High Wycombe. Cost £3000 it's 150ft long by 30ft wide

As you can see the dogs have dug up and churned up the garden. . :(

Is it post and rail with slats or panels? Also what sort of gravel board did you use?

LOL Post rail & slats, and . . .erm no idea. . here's what happened. . .

Pick up phone. . . "Hello me want fence"

Fencing guy. . . "Yarp £3000"

Me " Okelie dokelie"

Me in house with sounds of distant sawing, hammerring and calls for cups of tea.

fencing guy. . . "Finished "

Cha ching

I paraphrased a bit . . . :P

Me want one, big time. Post and rail is always a lot more expensive than panels, but will last the test of time. I've had mine for 30 years whereas panels more easily rot and get Ollied (he likes to chew them to spy on next doors cats I've still got another 10+ trees to cut down and some 20 foot privet hedge to go and stump removal before I get to the lovely look of your fence. Only been working on this project since July, along with Molly's_Mum and Molly's_Dad and assorted friends and family. My nickname is the Camberley Shredder and Molly's_Mum is the Pole Chain Saw Queen (you should see the disappointment on her face when anyone touches her toy) :D. Molly's_Dad is a whiz with a chain saw.
