RJS
Hiya!! I think it's about the right time to get a belt to walk Kodi with, as at the moment, my arms seem to be growing an inch longer after each walk!!! Can anyone recommend any brands or where's the best place to get one from? the only thing is that it needs to be able to handle around 50Kgs... Any help would be really appreciated... Elyse
I like Canadog's walking belt; its very good quality. I think there's a UK retailer that sell it too, but I forget who. http://www.canadog.ca/canicross-hands-free-walking-belt/ It says the collapsible water dish is not included, but mine came with one. (I'm not complaining!)
Osinn11
Thank for the post I was wondering this myself. With winter/snow season approaching thought it might be a good idea to have my hands free!

brian brown
Another one for the SASS belt, nice deep padding & the bungee is mounted near the front. Very comfortable to wear, I walk all 3 of mine & have had another Husky on there before now, making a total of 4 big dogs

Mollys Dad
This question partly depends on where you are and the postage. We have a SASS belt and it works great with out 3 - one of which is 50 kg (Timber - a Mal). Go for something that has a thick padded belt and avoid most of what you see on ebay / amazon - they will not cope with Huskies or any dogs that pull

RJS
thanks for the advice. Kodi's a Mal, and already over 30Kgs at 5 months, so ideally want one that will cope with him for atleast another 5 months!!! we're already buying him a new harness and collar every 3 weeks at the moment as he keeps growing out of them!!! Bless him!!

HuskyMom09
I use an Ultra Paws skijor belt and I love it! Super comfortable http://www.ultrapaws.com/Skijoring-Sledding-and-Canicross/products/1030/
Staceybob
I would recommend training your dog to walk to heel and then using a slider lead over your shoulder to walk hands free rather than using a walking belt unless you intend to use it for the cani-cross sport, but that's just me.
