Val (Zebedee) Posted September 23, 2012 Report Share Posted September 23, 2012 For those who race their packs seriously, how did you start out? How do you get your husky to learn the basics? To run without distraction? Did you get them to follow someone else, on a push bike, say? What happened when they overtook the person they were following?? Or did you have a 2 or more dog team with an experienced dog to show the other the ropes? We are talking with experienced mushers & are organising to meet up with possibly 2 teams so they can help us out, and talking to SHCGB etc but I want as much info from as many different people as possible, please Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
