Usually hold the leads with my right hand but the dogs on my left and use my left hand for controlling them. The loops of the lead are round my right wrist. I do the same even when I use the walking belt I have the leads loosely in my left hand. Most of the time.

I do the same as I have more control...........Ron

I walk him with my right hand but he walks to my left so the lead is across my body. I feel i have better control this way and if needed (e.g. a puyschair/young excitable children who tend to scare him) come past, i am able to move him to my right and keep him calm. It actually quite funny but since i got Kai, my right arm has got bigger at the top as walking him has built the muscle up ... weird lol :)
