Elyse
I like the recipe idea up there (be careful on the liver, though...too much will give them vitamin A toxicity), but here's another simple 'icecream cake' that I make every year for Suka: 1 large (beef) raw T-bone steak or an equivalent huge piece of raw meat. 1-2 containers of beef/chicken broth 5 milkbones or so 1. Put steak in a bowl (dog will eat out of this bowl. Make sure the bowl is 'freezer' friendly too!) 2. Pour broth in the bowl, making sure to use enough to cover the whole steak. Or, atleast most of it. 3. Put bowl in freezer for 5-6 hours. 4. When ready to 'serve', take bowl out of freezer and decorate the edges with milkbones. Suka loves it, and it takes him a bit to get the steak out of the frozen broth...so his birthday treat lasts longer. I wish I got a picture of it this year. (I usually don't feed Suka his kibble on the day I give him this...don't want him to get a stomach ache!)
