HuskyMom09
The Best of Breed competition consisted of 65 dogs/65 bitches. Quite the undertaking, it lasted all day! They were shown in 6 groups of dogs and after a lunch break 6 groups of bitches. Winner's Dog- Stormwatch's Typhoon at Windswept CD, BN, RE GCH Karnovanda's Tenzing GCH Kaniska's Kauz For Kamotion At Talkeetna Wayne Curtis and GCH CH Stormwatch's Mozart Edited October 11, 2012 by HuskyMom09

HuskyMom09
great pics thanks for sharing quite surprised to see an agouti competing (simply unusual, I know agoutis are acceptable) btw oh btw where's Denali? It was nice seeing the multitude of colors represented in the BOB this year. Unfortunately Denali is not a finished CH nor did we win Winner's Dog so our competition ended the day before in the open classes. Someday though! I think we're going to be putting Denali away from the show ring for a while to focus on some other working aspects of the breed as well as let him mature a bit. Our judge liked him a lot but he's got some growing yet to do! It was fun none the less!

I don't like having to send my boy out with a handler but he loves her and she's so good with him. It was fun getting to show him myself this time! His pics are posted in the Conformation Classes post I just put up
sutsibe
Great shots! Near the bottom, the gentleman kneeling down (#65) with the black dog - looks like you got a good shot of Wayne Curtis and Amadeus! Would you mind if I shared it with him on Facebook? HuskyMom09
Gotcha! I didn't think it would last all day. We could have made it! Ohh well! Oh yes when you are talking about a National Specialty show you can expect Best of Breed to be a huge class that will take all day to judge. We've certainly been re-hooked into the splendor and excitement, you better believe we'll be attending next year in Detroit!
