BlueWolf Posted November 12, 2012 Report Share Posted November 12, 2012 Sadly, places where there is not enough money for the people themselves have animal well-being on the bottom of their priority list. We, in the western world, are are privileged with enough money to maintain ourselves and additional animals. You will however realise this is a luxury and not a given when you visit the poorer countries. Bringing dogs home from other countries isn't solving the problem either imo There are enough dogs in the shelters waiting to be rescued in our own country. To help animals in foreign countries you have to help the people instead. Only when their own economy is good enough they will look for the not directly important things to stay alive, like fixing the stray animals problem, taking pets and getting educated about them.
