Andy
Addidas GSG9's Slightly over your price. However, designed for the German SAS comfortable from the first wear No breaking in. Best thing I've ever had on my feet.
stormchaser09
I am after a pair of muck boots as they are supposed to be warmer and more comfortable than wellies - haven't actually tried them as yet but a girl at work has just bought some for our outdoor play sessions with the kids and she likes them
stormchaser09
meant to say at the moment I use Clarks walking boots which are amazingly comfortable and waterproof and the mud just seems to disappear from them.
cas
I have a pair of wellies called Bogs. I got them from Crufts about 3 years ago and they are as good as new still and very comfy. You can get them online though too.

Phodetheus
I use a walking boots, all leather, with a good pair of gaiters, army surplus, for when its wet. They do allow me to walk through water nearly knee deep without the water seeping in providing they are done up properly and keep moving, stop and the water will get in. Also make sure your boots have vibran soles these are the best and will give you good grip on wet rock.
