i have no idea what's going on with Odin, he's my big boy who as soon as the back door is open he's out and theres no getting him in. But last night he was glued to my side all night if i moved he moved, if i went to the loo he came with me. I opened the back door but nope for the first time ever he wouldn't go out.

He refussed to eat and never left me once, i ended up spending the night curled up with him on the settee, even now he's at my feet am just hoping he'll eat tonite. it worries me.

Are you sick or are you feeling otherwise unwell? I know sometimes Suka stays in my room all day when I'm sick in bed (but other days he just doesn't care!).

Another thought. Don't mean to scare you; but I heard a story where this dog was like yours...would dash out at the earliest opportunity, but one night he stuck by his owner's side. It turns out the owner had something wrong with him that needed urgent medical attention (I forget exactly, it was a few years ago, but it was life threatening.). Animals are very in tune with us, so they can tell when something is wrong with us...even when we don't realize it ourselves.

There have been other stories where dogs have sniffed out tumors, cancer, and predicted heart attacks too...don't know if they're true though.
