calvinandmommy
Ok so Calvin just started drooling all of a sudden for no reason. He is like dripping wet. He hasn't got into anything I know that. Here is a pic of his face.... And here is a pic of one of the giant puddles he created.... And as I'm typing this he just let out the loudest burp I have ever heard coming from a dog.
Removed #5
I'm just guessing but off the cuff, from your description, it sounds like he's gotten into something edible he shouldn't have. A quick google also points to: Dental problems ( or a splinter in his mouth ) Poisoning - something ingested. Nausea Nervousness Which really means I don't know what I'm talking about and not being a lot of help ... Elyse
Excessive drooling can also be the cause of dehydration and/or heatstroke. As well as nervousness, anxiety, dental problems, etc... Have you looked into his mouth? See if anything is stuck in there? Excess saliva might be being produced to 'flush away' a foreign body. Or, like Al said, he might have ate something he shouldn't... calvinandmommy
Ok so the husband got home and Calvin was still drooling a lot. We have a dinner to go to tonight so we went to get ready and all of a sudden we heard a terrible hacking noise. We checked on Calvin and he was trying to clear something from his throat. He seemed to get it because after that he wanted to play and he stopped drooling. I'm guessing he just got something stuck. We are going to keep an eye on him but I think my baby is fine. Thankfully.
