before and after

If you know us at all, you know how much we love our pack...and they all came to us from rather neglected and abusive backgrounds. Just came across this photo and the before and after is just amazing to me. This is the photo of Jessy we had before we adopted her from a family that was surrending her: post-2509-13586083932613_thumb.jpg

It's just amazing to me what a little love and a bath can do to brighten both eyes and coat! She's our little bug! She was 38 lbs when we adopted her and now is a healthy 45 and can take her brothers our in the blink of an eye~so when you think next time about a dog, please adopt!

Thank you...I am still looking for photos of Jack, since we just didn't have many from when we first got him. I still feel like it was US that have won the lottery. They have some habits that I'm not sure will ever go away, but it's nothing we can't deal with. We just love them to the end of time...and every day I just can't wait to go home and get my sloppy kisses and husky hugs! I think everyone should adopt at least once...the payback is tremendous!

When I got him (4 years old), Suka was very underweight. Only 64 pounds (as opposed to his healthy 76 as he is now). You can't tell from the pics, but you could clearly feel all of his ribs and a little bit of his spine.

(a month after...2nd time at the dog park - was still the same weight. He still wasn't eating properly.)
