At first we would skate fast and she would run next to us then as we slowed down she would pick up the slack and start pulling us and taking the lead. We also use a certain harness so she knows she's going to be pulling us around so once its on it's just a quick "c'mon Roxy! go!" and she takes off. She learned pretty quickly. We also tried this with a sled in the snow at huge park nearby. She's a little tougher to control on snow as she once pulled me down a flight of stairs. She made it down no problem. My sled took good spill and I ended up sliding down on my side. It was a pretty funny moment. We'll definitely try again this year once it snows.
