Introducing Loki

Hey everyone! I'm Mike from Garden Grove, California and was just adopted by an adorable ~7 week (~8 now) old male Siberian Husky named Loki (yeah, I named him after the God of Mischief. I say "~" because the people we bought him from didn't know what they were doing to be honest. They said he was 7 weeks last weekend when I bought him, but they hadn't gotten him ANY shots or anything yet. He's a "non-papered" dog. He explained to me that the dad was full Siberian Husky, but the mom had a 30% mix of border collie in her and HER mother was 50/50 border collie/husky mixed. So I'm not sure how much of a husky this pup is, but he looks normal to me!

This past week has been a blast, I love this little ball of fluffy energy! Hopefully I can learn a lot about my new pup here so I can raise him correctly and end up with a well-behaved and beautiful husky like many I've seen on here! :).

I just got him his first set of shots on Monday, got him "Chipped" and treated him for worms (yeah, he had worms, more than likely from his previous home). Other than that, they said he's a healthy 9lb boy!

Anyway, here's some pictures of the little cutie! :)

Thank you everyone for the warm welcomes! :)

jmscott- Thank you for that heads up, I'll read into that and have it checked out!

I've been wondering about his ears as well! And this is my first dog that I'm taking care of, so I'm trying to be sure I do it right! Especially because I've heard huskies can be on the more difficult side, which is why I'm here, to learn! :)
