jessiezara90
Bit of a random odd question. But what kind of sofa do you have?! I'm looking to move soon so will be buying everything new. I have always had a fabric sofa but I spend half my time brushing and poofing mainly thanks to my fur kids.... Soooo much hair!! I like the idea of a leather cause then u can brush away hair and dirt but always thought paws and claws would rip it??

Stormy
I have leather and fabric... I now have throws over the fabric ones due to the hair and it drives me mad but they do look so nice when clean and are so comfy The leather one is easier to clean but still have to hoover it everyday anyway!! And its cold when its cold lol
MidnightPaws
We have a fabric one in the family room, never had to clean or get hair off of it. But the girls do have their own couch that's also fabric and it collects hair like crazy. We have a throw that we put over that one.

k9angel
We have leather. We got our last 3 peice leather lounge suite in as new condition for a measly $26 off ebay! (I just typed in pre-loved and set my distance so I didn't have to travel across the country to pick it up lol) I couldn't go back to fabric after having leather. So much easier to keep hair free and clean.
Its_A_Husky_Thing
We have micro-fiber ones...very easy to clean material.
Rosemary
We have leather. Our previous suite was fabric, which was like velcro to husky hair My two are probably the only two huskies in the world who are not allowed on the furniture, but we still have to vacuume the leather suite every day anyway
ponder85
Both of ours are fabric. Lots of hair on em.
cas
Mine is leather. Did have a fabric one before but I prefer the leather as it's easier to clean and hoover. Only a few scratch marks on mine which is from my mum's dogs when they had a mad half hour and started digging with their paws on the sofa. Andy
I think it was fabric but it's more Husky fur , slobber and muddy paw prints, than any original material.
Povodny
We have leather, only safi is allowed up on the couch and has to have permission first which enables us to put a rug where she sits first. The cats have done more damage than the dogs. They're also never left alone in the lounge in case they ever decided digging was an option. lebe03
We had a leather sofa and chair that Polee was on all the time which wasn't a problem as it was very easy to clean. However when we started using a throw and subsequently got a fabric sofa she's never been on the sofa since.
Biggles
Leather. The dogs aren't the problem it's the parrot who you have to keep an eye on as she likes to clean her beak by chewing on any sofa/chair going if she gets a chance. LuvMyKai
Leather, easier to clean than fabric ones as all it needs is a wipe, unless the cat decides to bring his meaty treat onto it and makes a mess everywhere! then i need to hoover it
jessiezara90
Think I'm gonna go for leather. Technically not supposed to be on sofa but as soon as my backs turned there on it. Meeko also thinks its a good launch pad!! No doggies in new sofa!!!.....hopefully lol
LittleLuka
mine is fabric. its a neutral color so i don't ever notice dog hair on it and luka is on it constantly. it cleans easily too as i have had muddy paw prints. literally just use water to clean it. Osinn11
Fabric - Dogs are allowed on (Cj nearly destroyed the loveseat so we figure she's claimed it as hers) / Black Micro-fiber...no dogs allowed! You could always look into something like this too! (Hope it ok to post this link) http://www.kvsupply.com/KVVet/product_family.asp?family%5Fid=1889&gift=False&mscssid=037D35512F7CB41048E7B554CFC8123B Edited January 4, 2013 by Osinn11
Steve
Ours prefer the feel of leather, though Holly in particular tends to give it a good scratching before finally curling up into it.
MollynDiesel
A fabric sofa (mum had to dye brown because of the mud) that looks more husky than sofa lol and a nice leather sofa that is totally hairless! Freezing but actually looks like a sofa lol
Devildust76
Ours is leather and Kodi has decided he will try and push his luck by jumping over it when our backs are turned He does NOT have our permission to stay on it however no matter how much wooing he does.
