lebe03
Please read first , This is a video of a stunt pilot who, in real life, is a Delta Airlines pilot. His act at air shows is to pretend that he is a drunken spectator who rushes from the stands and jumps into a Piper Cub and takes off without any understanding of how to fly a plane. The Piper Cub is actually specifically built to withstand an enormous amount of stress and has a very powerful engine. This type of stunt is actually the most dangerous of air show acts, because of the low altitude at which the pilot performs. Obviously, this pilot possesses unbelievable skill. Check out the landing at the end - that is special <font color="#000000"><span style="font-family: arial"><em><span style="font-family: Calibri"> Edited January 9, 2013 by lebe03

Rosemary
Scary stuff :wow2: you have to be 'ever so slighty mad' to even think about doing a stunt like that, never mind actually carrying it out - brilliant, but mad

serothis
That takes some bowling ball size cajones and absolute faith in that aircraft. :plane: Edited January 10, 2013 by serothis pancakes

elenamarie
LOL Did you see his rear flap?? That's how he controlled the plane. Hat's off to him! As the sister of a helicopter pilot I've seen some strange stuff but that one takes the cake for fixed wing aircraft.
