I have one myself even though I am a photocard licence holder, however you will still need to have a photo licence to go alongside it. The below is from the very same page. The ten-year photocard licences will become mandatory in 2015 when the paper licences are officially phased out. A quarter of drivers are still using the old-style paper licences. Povodny Posted January 12, 2013 Report Share Posted January 12, 2013 all ours were paper until aprox 10 years ago .. then they brought in the plastic ones too ... all new drivers automatically get the plastic ones ...
