theboysmum
Hi, Dont know whether this has already been posted but my friends Breeder rang her and advised her that the police had put out a notice that Huskys were being stolen in order to be used as bait dogs for fighting pitbulls etc - seems that their non agressive nature is just perfect for this use (plus the fact that they knock their teeth out helps apparantly) -this has been on Lucher Link already so chances are you lot already know. So PLEASE make sure your huskys are safe and secure and locked up if outside!!! A man has already been outed for seemingly rehoming them from rescues and then passing them on to fighting rings. A Husky has been stolen from the Rice Lane area of Liverpool already that I know of - so really really look out for this. My heart breaks just thinking about. Steve
Makes me feel so hollow that there are people out there that would even contemplate this. Mine lives indoors, but that's no guarantee these days!
Keeonah
We were told about this the other night. From what I read here this is only half the story of what they do to these poor dogs. The whole story is not for posting on here as it's to horrific. Please keep your dogs safe. Gary.
Frenchie
This is horrific, although it as bad for the Huskys as for the Pit bulls. It disgust me how people can watch an animal suffer and call it entertainment and added to that is all the neglect behind it and the horrors of the training of course. Julieanne
I wonder if, as kids, these people ever had a pet that they loved, watched a dog movie they liked or if, there is even maybe some kind of pet that they value now. I really hope it's a yes to maybe just one of those things............. Edited January 15, 2013 by Julieanne
Keeonah
The people doing this have no morals whatsoever. I would like to do to them what they are doing to these dogs............ just for the fun of it. Gary.

theboysmum
I dont think you can even contemplate it happening to one of your own dogs - I think you would probably go mad thinking about it - did you get Jax back?
