NicTurtle
Did you read this? http://worldnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/01/16/16542513-hamburgers-pulled-from-uk-supermarket-shelves-after-tests-reveal-horse-meat Finding pig meat in your beef burger is bad enough, but horse meat!? I'd be furious. I see them as pets as much as my dogs. Who wants to bet it all came down to greed again?

Emma
Ate some icelands burgers the other day (another firm implicated in scandal). They were the 100% beef quarter pounder ones and they had better not of had any horse in 'em or else the packaging alone would be enough for a law suit! LuvMyKai
Ugh, its horrible, one of the reasons i dont eat processed meats (apart from the fact that they are not slaughtered the way they need to be in my religion), is that you never definetly know whats in them, its horrible! lebe03
Considering all the other 'rubbish' that goes into your average burger I'm surprised at the uproar this has caused.
Elyse
Mmmmm....burger. With the works, please. All joking aside, I make my own burgers. Its really not that hard, and that way I know whats going into it...100% ground beef!
Val (Zebedee)
It is a horrible thing to know but some of the jokes doing the rounds about it are hilarious!
IshTing
I work at a butchers and all I get from people is "I can't trust a butchers, at least I know where my meats from at the supermarket". Obviously they don't even know what they're eating at all. Horse meat though is delicious.
Steve
I don't have an issue with eating horse any more than cow - on the continent its common to eat horse meet. However, if I buy beef, I expect beef. Makes you wonder just how out-of-control our supermarket food chain is.
