ChristieL
My daughter has a lab/husky mix he is three months old he is a SUPER smart dog but he looks so thin you can see his ribs, took him to the vet he is healthy no parasites no worms he is very energetic and he eats but he just looks so skinny. What should she feed him, is this normal?
Stormy
How much is he being fed and what is he being fed?? You may just need to up his food a bit if he is very active etc also he may not have the metabolism of his husky side.. my half husky half german shephard eats MORE than my full husky because she doesn't put on weight quite as easy as my husky does. Niber
Labs are hungry buggers. Niber used to fluctuate when he was growing, so I stopped weighing in the end. If he looked skinny I'd give more in meals, if he was filling out I'd reduce a bit, just done it by eye. Then once he stopped growing I had an idea of how much was needed. Hard to say with a mix though as you never know which breed they will be most like
ChristieL
Well he was on purina puppy food . I wasn't aware they had such sensitive stomachs. We are changing him to Blue Buffalo .
