Introducing My Boy Blaze

Mikey&Blaze

Recommended Posts

Hi guys! This is Blaze! I got him from the shelter when his was a tiny puppy. He was born in Iqualuit (nort pole) but they shipped him in ottawa canada because the shelter there was full. He's a GREAT dog. I couldnt ask for better. and hes absolutely gorgeous! but I have a question for you guys..

I think my boy is not 100% sibe. He looks alot like em but theres some traits that are missing. and hes from the north, they dont really care about breed purity. He could be an Alaska husky, or maybe mixed with a border collie? I dont know.. whatta you guys think? one thing I do know is that either way hes so damn beautiful lol. Enjoy the pics

He is just gorgeous, and no doubt irresistible as a puppy.  What do you think he is missing?  Is he stubborn? Loving? Does he occasionally go "husky deaf?" Does he do what he wants? A little mysterious and naughty but hard to yell at?  Welcome to the pack.  Sometimes the snow nose comes later.  My boy Jack (b/w) had a solid black nose when we got him and now has a beautiful snow nose and little jessy is even starting a snow nose!

Thanks alot guys for the warm welcome! I guess he really is pure sibe!

my only doubts were that i find that the shape of his head is a bit different, he's not super energetic as most huskies,

he's no escape artist, I don't need a leash, the door to the backyard is always open and his doesnt even think of running away.

but I guess all huskies are different. Ive seen some of your huskies and some look like mine. Happy to be in the pack you all have awesome

Huskies :D

Don't count on him ever not running away.  I'd be very careful about keeping your yard closed.  There comes a time in almost every huskie's life that they see something they want and go.  You don't want to risk it and should always use a lead when walking him.  More for his safety from other dogs, also.
