Hi All,

We have a young man named Zeph that we rescued on christmas eve, he's  a real gentleman. We chose Zeph after we lost our 8 year old husky Diesel to a slipped disc last year, he fought a courageous battle.  When it happened we swore we wouldn't have another one as we couldn't bear to go through that kind of heartbreak, ever again!!

Within weeks we realised that huskys are a lifestyle and we had a duty to offer a new home to an abandoned husky. Zeph was pure fate we popped into Birmingham dogs home, (where we got Diesel 8 years ago) on the off chance. We nearly left as seeing all those abandoned staffordshire bull terriers was too much to bear, so sad. We got chatting to one of the kennel sraff and told her about Diesel, she asked had we seen the husky, we said no and she led us to him - there he was such a sorry little thing very underweight 17kg with severe diahrrea. When they took him to the viewing area he couldn't stay still and could only focus on the treat box in the room - but we knew he was our new boy.

He hasn't proved us wrong, he's now 21kg and just as chilled as our old boy, he really is filling some very big and amazing paws :heartbeat:
