Storm Angel n Auroras Mum
A kinda silly subject but I realised I nearly always do use my manners when asking the dogs to do things. Like when asking them to move I say excuse me, and when asking them to come inside and then saying good boy/girl and thankyou. Its kinda embarrassing. I also say sorry if I accidentally tread on them or bump into them.
mydiamond
sometimes I do but some other times I just say "don't stand there" or "move over, boy!"
Julieanne
Not 100% of the time, though I try my best to not come across as rude.

RedJasper
I do most of the time. After I have addressed several times and get no reply then I looses the politeness as a firm excuse me just does not seem right. I also tell them bless you when they sneeze . Stormy
I have apologized if i step on them or bump into them but i dont really use manners otherwise lol
Emma
Just the usual things like "hello", "goodbye". "sorry". I think even that is probably lost on them but it's kind of instinctive!
MollynDiesel
Depends on the situation, if i have time to use manners i will, if he NEEDS to do something i'll tell him to do it without manners (but i always apologise later for being rude lol)
Povodny
I say sorry if I step on them, but that's usually because they didn't move out of the way when they saw me coming! Safi likes to try and kill me in the kitchen. The amount of times she lies behind me an I step back then almost fall over her, an she doesn't budge :| poor Loki is always underfoot an I constantly have to move him. He either sits in front of the sink an blocks it. I move him from there an he stops in front of the wishdosher then I need to open it. He moves to the fridge an I need to go in there! By then I'm apologising lol Otherwise its just 'move' 'back' 'away' 'wait' in a firm voice followed by 'good gurl/boy' in a soft one
Chula
I usually talk to the dog the same way I talk to my man. Depends on how tired I am, and how badly she's pissing me off at the moment.

Osinn11
We talk to our "kids" all the time. Sometimes they even appear to listen! When we are around other dogs we tell them..use your manners! LOL
Austinville
Always. I expect her to use her manners when dealing with humans - therefore it's important for me to use mine with her...
Devildust76
Like everyone else I ask nicely the first 10 or 12 times then there's some more 'colourful' language
