BlueWolf Posted February 16, 2013 Report Share Posted February 16, 2013 What happens when you combine an old school 2D platformer with a 3D environment... at the same time? Well, meet Perspective. Just found this free little game which is based around this very neat concept. "In Perspective, the player has two modes of control: a first person camera moving in 3D space, and an avatar that is constrained to the 2D world. In order to get the 2D avatar to the goal at the end of the level, the 3D player needs to move around in 3D space to create paths for the 2D avatar." (This is an old trailer by the way. Some things have changed in the mean time) Wasn't actually too hard to wrap my mind around this new gameplay and I completed it in about an hour. Definitely a fun little game worth playing.
