Removed #1 Posted February 17, 2013 Report Share Posted February 17, 2013 There's not a lot of details right now, but the initial reports are that the first team that left this morning in the UP200 was hit at a crossing by a motorist. The motorist fled the scene, several dogs are injured but the musher is okay. Below is all they've got posted on their website. Here's hoping that the dogs all pull through. http://up200.org/ ATTENTION: The UPSDA reports an incident early Sunday morning along Michigan Highway 28 near Wetmore involving a motor vehicle. The musher is unharmed although dogs were injured and are being cared for by our Veterinary Team.
