moonstar Posted February 19, 2013 Report Share Posted February 19, 2013 dog you give your fluffys the same type of food every day from day one i swop and change thay get dry topped with cooked meat on top with gravy made from meat juice it can be any type of meat but cooked and keep changing dry the idea was that if ever the stuff changed or stopped or i was ill and others had look after them thay are not fussy and thay would be ok with food and we have not had a problem yet one of mine has always only eaten a little so i exta try to make sure quality is there for him but what do you think stay same every day or change or is it a human thing thinkin thay must get fed up eatin same dry stuff every day perhaps sometimes that why the the table and chairs and cushions taste good Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Emma Posted February 20, 2013 Report Share Posted February 20, 2013 I try not to change too often incase it upsets their stomachs. Ice has to have tinned chappie or he'll definately have problems. bee Posted February 20, 2013 Report Share Posted February 20, 2013 I give my two dry mix but on top of this they get fish one day and beef one day i will also add some veg and rice in with the fish and beef. i have no problems with this they get 30 min to eat there grub then its taken out of the way.i also find that some days the dogs will not eat anything so they just have there water and thats it no health problems. I do not change up their diet for variety, but they do get scraps every so often as a treat...usually chicken skin and fat, the stuff mommy don't like. Storm Angel n Auroras Mum Posted February 21, 2013 Report Share Posted February 21, 2013 mine have wainwrights kibble and that comes in different flavours so every month when we buy a new bag we change the flavour alternating so they dont have the same 2 months in a row. Storm has become really fussy I believe because when he was little he had a lot of tummy troubles and we kept trying different things. he was on fish and rice for weeks. He has to have something with his kibble or he wont eat it. Hes gone off the wainwrights trays and we started getting this other one which was tuna and veg but he stopped eating that too. So Ive been using different things. Fish such as sardines and mackerel in the sunflower oil as its good for his coat. If I cook mince they get the fat from it and they love that. If we have rice he gets rice with something else, if we have spag bol he gets spaghetti. I buy fresh fish pie mix and fry it for him. Wont eat raw. Angel we try and keep her on the kibble only as much as we can as she really suffers from a bad belly quickly. But if storms having something nice I will usually share it out.
