Sarah
Does you husky / other breed ever get reoccuring ear problems? Kimba's right ear flares up every few months but its only one ear, it get red and warm and he constantly scratches at it
lebe03
Polee gets ear redness now and again but Cleanaural tends to sort it out http://www.amazon.co.uk/CleanAural-Dog-Ear-Cleaner-100ml/dp/B003Y77BEE

Dave
Kodi has gets this every now and then, more every six months or so but it occurs in either ear and appears random. The vet advised us to give his ears a good clean once a month as this 'may' help. Not sure if it will or not though

Julieanne
This isn't quite what you were looking for, however I once had a red heeler who's ears were sunburnt. The flies were always nibbling at his ears despite using different creams. Unfortunately he's ears never get any better and he permanently had bits out of his ears where the flies had eaten. He was originally a friends dog and was out on a station when his ears first got burnt. He never once tried to kill any of the flys though, he was such a kind dog.
