Chewbacca_&_me
Watch out this year in Florida! Please ensure your puppy or dog is up to date on shots and prevention. There have been multiple reports of dogs picking up kennel cough and parvo here In Jacksonville. Dog Parks here may be infected already and all it takes is walking through and area where a sick dog has deficated, vomitted or coughed up mucous. Both- Parvo and Kennel cough can be tracked home from infected areas. If you notice a dog coughing frequently and/or doing the reverse sneeze that sounds like violent attempts at vomitting, see a dog that is vommiting or has mucous around the eyes or nose, or a dog that is having bouts of diarreah, please leave the park. The best prevention is ensuring your dog is vaccinated and healthy. Puppies especially. I'd highly recommend not taking young pups under the age of 16 weeks to the parks.
