Hi Everyone, myself and my husky, "loki" are newbies to this forum. We live in the South East of the UK. Loki is a 9 week old husky(see profile pic), had him for a week now and he is the most adorable dog ever. Seem to be getting on ok with "potty" training. We have the occasional accident indoors, but he mainly goes outside now. He still cant go for walks(unless carried!) his injections are in two weeks time, and I think he is getting frustrated and wants to for a walk!!...sleeps very well at night, no howling or barking at all. He is still very "nippy" when excited. Nice to meet you all  :)

:hello: and :welcome:      It's a shame he cannot go out yet. Is there any reason that he can't have his jabs sooner? 2 weeks seems a long time to wait and then you have to get the second one done. It'll be a while before he can go out. Does look a nice dog though from what can be seen in your avatar. As Dunc said :worthless:

Ok guys I have a quick question. Loki is very playful(9 week old pup!!) I have two children and he seems to be very good with them, however one thing he seems to do often, is to not let them sit on the sofa's without barking and jumping up at them. It seems to be a playful thing and I get the impression that he just wants to play, but when they dont get off and play with him, he jumps up and nips at them(again likely to be playful).....does anyone have any tips on how to get him to understand that he cannot jump up on the sofa's and nip people!....thanks ...happy Sunday everyone :)
