BrittanyNicole
So my Zoey has been acting weird all night and this morning. She was super tired yesterday because I took her to my parent's so they could watch her while I was out. They have a dog that she loves to play with the whole time. But around 3 she was whining to go out and go potty. So she went poop. Then an hour later she started whining again, but this time she threw up, twice. Now she is just moping around and is doing this like huffing noise, as if her nose is stuffy. Her nose is really dry and she doesn't seem interested in eating food, drinking water, or even eating ice. I tried hand feeding her and also giving her a piece of ice just so she can have some water. So I don't know what could be going on. It seems kind of like allergies, but I don't know about the not eating part. I'm thinking she might have gotten into something she wasn't supposed to and it's upsetting her stomach. Any ideas?
Removed #5
Brittany, my first question is "How old is she?" and then "Is she current on all her shots?"
BrittanyNicole
She's almost 6 months, and yes she is. She's doing better now. She finally ate and drank water. Was excited to go for a walk and now she's playing like normal.
Keeonah
It sounds to me like she has picked something up outside and ate it. Mine do it all the time. For such an intelligent breed of dog they can sometimes be really stupid Gary.
Andy
I Echo what Gary said, sounds like she ate something she shouldn't or ate too much too quickly and it caused an obstruction. The throwing up probably cleared it.
