Letting The "cat" Out Of The Bag

Well our first two attempts of fostering/adopting for Northern Victoria Sled Dog Rescue fell through.

1st one got adopted directly from the pound first thing in the morning before the rescue could call through and say they had someone for her.

2nd one was getting her vet work done at one of the rescues before being transported and they found her microchip so she was able to go home.

But as they say every story has a silver lining.

While telling us about what happened to the second Siberian we got told that they may have a young red girl going into care with them "next week". Well next week is here and we are organising to collect her this weekend while we are at the training workshop. Has been a bit of a scramble to get things ready to be able to have a second dog on the trip but everything is all set and ready we just need to get there now.

Now is the time for pictures, to me she looks to be between 6-12 months old. No doubt she will have a name by the end of tomorrow night.
