There was a big blog about it a month ago because someone was trying to import several into the USA to be house pets. Apparently its against the rules. Bet their difficult to keep then, if their illegal to bring in to the U.S I would think that would be either a stopping the spread of disease thing, that they were endangered or that they need really special care that the avarage person cant provide.
