Kech
Hi all! It's been awhile since I've posted last, but spring is here and I desperately need help with my yard (if you can call it that!). The snow is almost gone, but what it reveals is disgusting. My plan is to remove the grass to replace with something the two huskies can't destroy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.... RedJasper
There have been other posts floating around about using AstroTurf.
Emma
Safest bet is probably patio or decking. Would expect decking to get scratched and collect unwanted mess in the grooves. I like those patio's that have patterns inlaid in stones but that's me and it's not my garden! lol. Personally, I just fill in the holes and sow grass seed everywhere and hope for the best! Kech
I've seen it, but not sure how cheap it is. Thanks for the thought...
Kech
I have an above ground pool and my two have already dog trenches all around it. Need to put gravel instead of wood chips I suppose...
CARRINGTON
sorry no advice on this as Balto doesn't dig unless it is snow. I know someone on here posted a thread a while back where she grew her own grass that the dogs were able to dig and chew on, maybe that could be an option? Kech
You can get pet friendly astroturf I'll have to look at the cost. My back yard isn't all that big with the pool and deck taking up half the land. The turf could be a good solution. Thanks....
Jay
I have that problem in my small outdoor area. All I have is mulch and if I leave them alone they like to dig and create big mud messes! I want to put stones to replace the mulch but I'm waiting for a bit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Its_A_Husky_Thing
We have to replant our backyard this year. We will see how it goes. Its pretty much a muddy mess right now since the snow is melting its raining a lot. Our plan is to re-seed it all and then do stones around the house and garage so they cant dig next to the buildings atleast.
