HuskyMom09
Well after being soaked on our last run, we got a beautiful sunny day to run yesterday! It warmed up a lot faster than we hoped it would and we had to rust the dogs more frequently, but it was still a great run and the dogs totally enjoyed themselves! I must say the team is looking good so far!

HuskyMom09
This, by far, is one of my favorite trails to run It's a great 'thinking' trail for the dogs to enjoy and I love the diversity we can find here
Osinn11
What kind of scooter am I seeing in the 3rd from last photo? Like the larger size red tires!

jmscott
...Ive seen those photos....I know I have. because for some reason I know that the big male on the left is used to being on the right and got fussy in an attempt to get switched back to his normal side of the gangline. Are those Jill's dogs?

Are those Jill's dogs? 4 of the dogs are Jill's Mason and Denali are mine. I'm lucky enough to be adding some of her dogs to my team as my oldest retired and my youngest aren't quite ready to step up to a competitive level-

HuskyMom09
Very cool- Her lines and mine are very different, but I can appreciate the work ethic there for sure. It's been an interesting learning opportunity for both me and my remaining team, the girls will be out soon enough. I need to start running them at least 2 miles to catch up for fall. Wingnut Kennels
*sigh*, it all makes me so jealous, yet nostalgic. I 'retired' from mushing 5 years ago when we moved from Maine to Georgia, but oh how I miss it. Finally convinced my wife to let me try and put our Mastiffs and smooth collies in harness and to get another Siberian. It's heat season in GA, so I won't do anything other than put harnesses on the dogs and let them get the feel of pulling. Once cool weather comes, Katy bar the door.
