Tried everything I could to fix it to no avail as it seems my motherboard has gone completely. Now I have had this computer for a long time and done very little to it. For the geeks amoungst you it has 6600 intel quad processor, 4gb ddr2 (was 8gb at one point but wasnt playing well) which is still a fairly powerful comp especially with 2 ssd drives on raid mirror. But I am the ultimate geek. That comp was bought 8 years ago and was the best you could buy at the time so I have been thinking of updating for a while now. I guess now is my excuse to do so. New PC Spec: Processor: i7 3770 Memory: 16gb DDR3 10700 Graphics: NVidia GeForce GT 630 (additional 2gb onboard DDR3) Hard Drives: 2 x 120gb sata3 ssd (will be on raid config when I get sorted) 1 x 250GB Sata3 7200rpm 2 x 500gb Sata3 external (both usb 3, 1 x ssd and 1 x 7200rpm) 1 x 2tb Sata3 7200rpm Should do me for a few years Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've already upgraded it to the max, but its still too slow for what I want to do. But I can't afford a new one. Sigh. Oh well - guess it can wait a few more years.
