Chula
She's growing up. While I'm so happy she's healthy and thriving, it's a little sad to see her puppyness disappearing. At 5 months, and 25 pounds.
CARRINGTON
Aww. They do grow up so fast but she is looking good
Jay
awe! She looks so big now! I remember when Nikko was growing up, I could not believe how fast he grew! He went from 16lbs when I picked him up to 50lbs in just 4 months!
Chula
I think she is still pretty small for her age, but I am okay with that. I'll be happy if she ends up in the 40 pound range.
Jay
Females are usually smaller anyway. At 5 months old Nikko was 42lbs but Yukon was only 30lbs. I think Yukon is topped out and he is around 45lbs but he is on the smaller side, especially for being a male. And he needs to loose a few lbs lol I think she is still pretty small for her age, but I am okay with that. I'll be happy if she ends up in the 40 pound range. Mobezilla
Yuki was 26.4 pounds at 5 months. Now at 9 months, shes 36.3 pounds. Yeah she may be on the smaller side but she still has plenty of time to grow, I'm expecting Yuki to get up to 40 by the time shes

At 5 months, and 25 pounds. AH! fear not! though the exterior may undergo some change, you'll always see the puppy at play on the inside! All you need do is look a bit harder . . . It's in there!! frankmayfield
Yeah, I agree. She still looks like a puppy (a very cute puppy).
Chula
She's just losing some of the roundness and squishyness of being a puppy. I can see maturity in her face that wasn't there before. She's definitely not grown, but changing every day , which is I guess what happens! Fr Carmen OFM
Thank you, Dunc! I found that to be true with my own, no matter how old they get. There's a puppy inside waiting to get out. All the human companion has to do is invite it to play . . . Carmen OFM
